A wordless pill reminder for iPhone. A pixel cat asks, you answer.

Nothing you enter ever leaves your phone.

Vitaminki has no servers, no accounts, and no analytics. It was built to sit quietly on one device and remember one thing for you.

No data is collected. Not your name, not your email, not an advertising identifier, not a usage statistic.
No accounts. There is nothing to sign up for and nothing to sign in to.
No analytics, no crash reporting, no ads. The app contains no third-party code that could send anything anywhere.
No network requests. Vitaminki works with the phone fully offline, because it never needed a connection in the first place.

What the app stores, and where

Vitaminki keeps two things: the medications you set up (a package sprite, a pill colour, and the times of day) and your answers to each dose — taken, skipped, or unanswered. Both live in the app's own storage on your iPhone, in a container shared with the home screen widget so it can show the same day. Nobody else can read it, including me.

Notifications

Reminders are scheduled by iOS on the device itself. No push server is involved, so the times you take medication are never transmitted. The notification shows an emoji and the picture of the package you picked — no medication names, because the app never asks for any.

Device backups

If you back up your iPhone to iCloud or to a computer, that backup may include the app's data, the same way it includes data from your other apps. Those backups are handled by Apple under Apple's terms, and I have no access to them. Vitaminki itself does not sync, upload, or copy anything.

Children

Nothing is collected from anyone, at any age. The app has no sign-up, no chat, no links out, and no advertising.

Deleting your data

Delete the app and its data is removed with it. There is no copy anywhere else to request, export, or erase — which also means a deleted history cannot be recovered.

Changes to this policy

If the app ever gains something that touches data — optional sync between your own devices, for instance — this page will say so plainly before that version ships, and the date at the bottom will change.

Support

How it works

The whole app is wordless on purpose, so here is the short version in words, once.

Tap the + and build a medication: pick a package, pick a pill, pick how many times a day. Press and hold ✓ to save it.
Allow notifications when iOS asks. The question comes at the times you chose.
When it is time, the cat wakes up and asks. Press and hold ✓ if you took it, ✗ if you did not. The cat purrs or sulks accordingly.
Swipe right to walk back through past days. Tap any pill there to change what you answered.

The reminders are not arriving

Open Settings → Notifications → Vitaminki and make sure they are allowed. Check that a Focus mode is not silencing them. A reminder repeats every hour until you answer it, so if the first one arrived at a bad moment the next one is on its way.

I took a pill late, after the notification was gone

Open the app and tap that pill under its package. The cat asks about that dose right away, whatever the time — your answer matters more than the schedule.

Can I answer without opening the app?

Yes, two ways: the ✓ and ✗ buttons on the notification banner itself, and the home screen widget, which carries the same two buttons.

The widget looks out of date

iOS decides when widgets are allowed to refresh, and it sometimes waits. Opening the app once nudges it immediately.

I cannot feel the purring

Vitaminki uses Core Haptics, so it still works when “System Haptics” is switched off in Sounds & Haptics. But if Settings → Accessibility → Touch → Vibration is off, the iPhone produces no haptics at all, for any app.

Does my history move between devices?

Not yet. Everything stays on the one iPhone it was entered on. Sync between your own devices is the feature most likely to come next, and it will be optional.

I travelled to another time zone

Your history stays where it was. Days are stored as calendar days rather than clock offsets, so crossing a time zone does not shift or hide anything.

I changed a medication — what happens to the past?

Nothing. Editing or deleting a medication applies from today forward; the days already recorded keep the packages and answers they had.

How do I erase everything?

Delete the app. Everything goes with it, permanently.

Is there an iPad or Mac version?

iPhone only for now.
